Nepal:Another protester killed in police firing in Bara
One more protester was killed and three other injured in police firing on a demonstration organised by the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) in Kalaiya, Bara district, Sunday afternoon.
One Majir Alam Ansari, 25, of Raghunathpur VDC died on the spot as bullet fired by the riot police by hit him, reports said. Police resorted to shooting as the protesting crowd clashed with them at Devkota Chowk at around 4 pm.
Three protesters injured the incident have been identified as Jitendra Yadav, Surendra Kushwaha and Harihar Mahato. They have been admitted at a local hospital for treatment.
A 12-hour curfew is in effect in Kalaiya Municipality from 8 am after sporadic protests continued around the town from early morning. One protester was killed in police firing there on Saturday. nepalnews
